Favorites
My favorite dental procedure is root canal therapy because it alleviates pain and gives the tooth a second chance at life. I also enjoy helping patients with dental anxiety. I pride myself in being able to create a safe environment to deliver gentle and painless dentistry.
My favorite full length animated film is Spirited Away. This masterpiece perfectly encapsulates the innocence, imagination, and brilliance of childhood - plus, it has an amazing soundtrack. My favorite color is green and I generally wear blue and green as my go-to color palette. My favorite fictional character is Seto Kaiba from the Yu-Gi-Oh series because he has a unique energy that resonates with me. In the show he is a billionaire philanthropist that makes his living playing a children’s card game - if that’s not awesome I don’t know what is. My favorite food is sushi because it’s easy to eat, tastes good, and is paradoxically simple yet so complex.
Hobbies
My hobbies include cycling, running, and spending time with my rescue pet greyhound (he’s a former racing dog from Tijuana and his name is Forrest). Like every typical pet owner, I also have pet Chilian rose-haired tarantula named Karen that I’ve had since 2014. If you don’t own a pet spider yet, it’s all good - it’s currently waiting for you under your bed, hoping to be adopted and named by you. I also enjoy doing wholesome activities with my siblings and close friends: dinner, boardgames, carving pumpkins, you name it. My personal hobbies include wristwatches, computers, audio, 3D printing, card games, table tennis, macro-photography, and bunch of other nerd stuff (fun fact: I personally coded and designed this website myself).
Clinical Care Experience
I am extremely detail orientated and care for patients as if they were my own family. I live by the quote from endodontics giant, Dr. Herb Schilder: “The best treatment plan is the one you would do for your mom, wife, or little sister.” At IVY DENTAL expect to be treated like family with the highest level of care, compassion, optimism, and attention to detail.
